Joitree Alam

Joitree Alam (she/her) is a doctoral student of Art History studying the material documentation, specifically photography and video, of performance and ephemeral art in the late 20th century. Before her time at Northwestern, she spent time as a research postgraduate associate at the Lens Media Lab at the Institute for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage at Yale University. She completed a B.A. in Art History and Applied Statistics from the University of Virginia in 2022.
